SECTION 4 — APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULING
- — All services are provided by appointment. Clients must schedule an appointment before visiting our Lewisville office or requesting mobile service. Walk-in visits without a scheduled appointment may be turned away depending on availability.
- — Scheduling Methods: Appointments can be scheduled by calling or texting 469-580-5134, submitting a request form through this Website, or emailing us directly. A confirmed appointment requires mutual agreement on the date, time, location, and type of service.
- — Confirmation: Upon booking, we will provide a confirmation that includes the date, time, location, service type, and any preparation requirements. Clients are responsible for confirming receipt of this information.
- — Arrivals: Clients should arrive on time for in-office appointments and ensure that all parties required for a notarization or service are present at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may require rescheduling if it affects subsequent appointments.
- — Mobile Appointments: Mobile service appointments require a confirmed address, access instructions, and any specific requirements for on-site service. Travel time and fees for mobile appointments may vary based on distance from our Lewisville office.
SECTION 5 — PRICING AND PAYMENT
- — Published Pricing: Service pricing is displayed on our Website’s Pricing page and on individual service pages. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of your appointment will be honored for that appointment.
- — FBI Background Check Pricing: Our FBI background check service has two clearly separate pricing options. The In-Office FBI Background Check is $125 and is performed at our Lewisville office by appointment. The Mobile FBI Background Check is $250 and is performed at the client’s home, office, or business location. These are two different services with different delivery methods and pricing.
- — Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and other payment methods communicated at the time of booking. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.
- — Third-Party Fees: Certain services involve government filing fees, processing fees, shipping costs, or agency charges that are separate from our service fees. These third-party costs are the client’s responsibility and are not included in the prices shown on our Website unless explicitly stated.
- — No Hidden Fees: We are committed to transparent pricing. Any additional charges beyond our published service fees will be communicated and agreed upon with the client before work begins.
SECTION 6 — IN-OFFICE SERVICES
- — Location: Our office is located at 1716 S Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067. In-office services are available by appointment only.
- — In-Office Availability: The following services are available at our Lewisville office: notary public services, ink fingerprinting, Live Scan / Print-to-Card fingerprinting, In-Office FBI Background Check, apostille assistance, passport photos, translation services, document preparation assistance, and consultation for other services we offer.
- — Convenience of In-Office Visits: Visiting our office allows clients to coordinate multiple services in a single appointment. For example, you can have documents notarized, get fingerprinted, and take passport photos during the same visit if all services are scheduled together.
- — Privacy and Discretion: Our office is a professional, private environment. We handle sensitive documents and personal information with care and discretion at all times.
SECTION 7 — MOBILE SERVICES
- — Availability: Mobile services are available for applicable services as listed on our individual service pages. Not all services are offered as mobile services. Passport photos, for example, are an in-office-only service.
- — Service Area: Mobile service is available throughout Lewisville, TX, and surrounding communities including Flower Mound, Highland Village, The Colony, Coppell, Denton County, and the greater DFW area. Availability for specific locations is confirmed at the time of booking.
- — Requesting Mobile Service: Clients can request mobile service by calling or texting 469-580-5134 or submitting a request through the Website. Not every mobile request may be accepted depending on the service type, scheduling availability, and travel distance.
- — Conditions for Mobile Service: Mobile appointments require a confirmed location, adequate workspace (for fingerprinting and notarization), and the presence of all required parties. The client is responsible for ensuring the environment is suitable for the requested service.
- — JG Prestige Offers Both In-Office and Mobile Services: Our business is not an exclusively mobile service provider. We maintain a physical office in Lewisville where clients are welcome to schedule appointments, and we also travel to clients for applicable services. The choice between in-office and mobile depends on the service requested and the client’s preference.
SECTION 8 — NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES
- — Texas Commission: Jacqueline Grajales is a commissioned Texas Notary Public. All notarial acts are performed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
- — Required Identification: Every person appearing before the notary for a notarization must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification include a state-issued driver’s license, a U.S. passport, a foreign passport with visa, or another government-issued photo ID that the notary finds satisfactory.
- — Document Requirements: Clients are responsible for bringing unsigned documents to the appointment. A notary cannot notarize a document that has already been signed unless the process is completed correctly under Texas law.
- — All Signers Must Be Present: Every individual whose signature requires notarization must be physically present at the appointment. A notary cannot notarize a signature for someone who is not present.
- — Notary Refusal: A notary may refuse to perform a notarial act if the signer appears to be acting under duress, seems unable to understand what they are signing, cannot produce acceptable identification, or if the notary has reason to believe fraud or misrepresentation is involved. The notary may also decline if the document raises concerns about legality or proper execution.
- — No Legal Advice: JG Prestige does not provide legal advice, review documents for legal sufficiency, or recommend which documents should be signed. Clients are responsible for consulting with an attorney regarding the content and legal implications of their documents.
SECTION 9 — FINGERPRINTING SERVICES
- — Card Types: We use official fingerprint cards as required by the requesting agency. The FD-258 is the most commonly used card for FBI, ATF, and federal submissions. The FD-1164 is available for specific background check requests. Clients are responsible for confirming which card their agency requires before their appointment.
- — Quality Assurance: We take care to capture clean, legible prints during every appointment. However, certain conditions — such as extremely worn fingerprints, cuts, abrasions, heavy calluses, or chemical exposure — may affect print quality. We will inform the client of any issues during the appointment.
- — Re-Printing: If an agency rejects the fingerprint card due to print quality or formatting issues beyond our control, a re-printing appointment may be required. Additional fees may apply for repeat appointments.
- — Client Responsibility: Clients must confirm with the requesting agency that JG Prestige’s fingerprinting format and card type are acceptable before scheduling. We are not responsible for agency rejections that result from using the wrong card format as directed by the client.
SECTION 10 — FBI BACKGROUND CHECK
- — Two Service Options: JG Prestige offers two distinct FBI Background Check options:
- In-Office FBI Background Check — $125: Performed at our Lewisville office at 1716 S Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067, by appointment.
- Mobile FBI Background Check — $250: Performed at the client’s home, office, or business location throughout the DFW area.
These are separate services with different locations, delivery methods, and pricing.
- — Departmental Order: FBI Identity History Summary requests submitted through our service use the Departmental Order process. Clients must provide the correct requesting agency information, including the ORI number (Originating Agency Identifier) assigned by the requesting organization.
- — Government Processing Time: The FBI processes Identity History Summary requests independently of our service. Actual turnaround time is determined by the FBI and may vary. We provide fingerprinting and submission assistance, but we cannot control the FBI’s processing speed.
- — Accuracy of Information: The client is responsible for providing accurate personal information and the correct ORI number. Errors in submitted information may result in delays, rejections, or the need to resubmit.
- — No Guarantee of Outcome: JG Prestige facilitates the submission process but does not guarantee the outcome of the FBI’s review. The FBI’s determination regarding criminal history records is outside our control.
SECTION 11 — APOSTILLE SERVICES
11.1 — Process Overview: Apostille assistance involves reviewing documents, notarizing them if required, and submitting them to the appropriate authentication authority — either the Texas Secretary of State for state-issued documents or the U.S. Department of State for federal documents.
11.2 — Texas vs. Federal Apostilles: State-issued documents such as birth certificates, marriage licenses, court orders, and corporate filings require Texas apostille processing. Federal documents such as FBI background checks require federal apostille processing through the U.S. Department of State. We handle both pathways.
11.3 — Government Processing Time: Apostille processing timelines are determined by the Texas Secretary of State or the U.S. Department of State. Typical Texas apostille processing takes 5 to 7 business days after submission, but this can vary. Federal processing times may be longer. We provide estimated timelines but cannot guarantee exact completion dates.
11.4 — Document Integrity: Clients must provide original or certified copies of documents for apostille processing. We are not responsible for issues caused by submitting photocopies, damaged originals, or documents that are missing required information.
11.5 — No Guarantee of Acceptance: While we ensure documents meet the formatting and notarization requirements for apostille processing, we do not guarantee that the destination country will accept the apostilled document. Acceptance is determined by the foreign government or receiving institution.
SECTION 12 — PASSPORT PHOTO SERVICES
12.1 — In-Office Only: Passport photo sessions are an in-office service only and are not available as a mobile service. Appointments are scheduled at our Lewisville office at 1716 S Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067.
12.2— Specifications: All photos are taken to meet U.S. Department of State specifications for passport, visa, and other official identification purposes. This includes the correct size (2 by 2 inches), plain white background, neutral expression, proper lighting, and clear visibility of both eyes.
12.3 — Client Preparation: Clients must arrive without glasses, hats, or headwear that covers the hairline (unless worn for religious or medical reasons, in which case the face must be fully visible from chin to forehead). A valid photo ID is required at the appointment.
12.4 — Re-Takes: If a photo does not meet our quality standards before printing, we will re-capture it at no additional cost during the same appointment. Photos rejected by a passport agency due to client non-compliance with the preparation requirements listed above may require a new paid appointment.
SECTION 13 — TRANSLATION SERVICES
- — Certified Translation: A certified translation includes a signed statement from the translator affirming the accuracy and completeness of the translation. This certification is commonly required by courts, immigration authorities, academic institutions, and government agencies.
- — Scope of Work: JG Prestige provides document translation assistance in English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English. We handle legal, academic, immigration, medical, personal, and business documents. Clients must inform us of the specific requirements of the receiving organization before work begins.
- — Accuracy: We take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy, but the client is responsible for reviewing the translated document before submission to any agency or institution. JG Prestige does not guarantee acceptance by the receiving party.
- — Turnaround Time: Translation timelines depend on document length, complexity, and current workload. Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of booking.
SECTION 14 — WEDDING OFFICIANT SERVICES
- — Service Scope: JG Prestige provides wedding officiant services for ceremonies held at venues, homes, or other locations throughout the DFW area. The officiant performs the ceremony in accordance with Texas marriage laws.
- — Marriage License: The couple is responsible for obtaining a valid Texas marriage license before the ceremony. JG Prestige does not issue or assist with marriage license applications.
- — Booking and Deposits: Wedding officiant services require advance booking. Cancellation policies for wedding services are communicated at the time of booking and may differ from standard service cancellation terms.
SECTION 15 — DOCUMENT PREPARATION ASSISTANCE
- — Non-Legal Services Only: JG Prestige provides assistance with permitted non-legal document preparation and administrative document services. We do not provide legal advice, draft legal instruments, represent clients in legal matters, or act as attorneys or law firms.
- — Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for ensuring that all documents they ask us to assist with are appropriate for non-legal assistance. If a document requires legal expertise, we will refer you to a qualified attorney.
SECTION 16 — CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING, AND REFUNDS
- — Cancellations: Clients may cancel an appointment by calling or texting 469-580-5134 at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.
- — Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change your appointment.
- — Refunds: Once a service has been performed — including notarization, fingerprinting, photo capture, or document submission — no refunds are issued for the service fee. If a third-party government processing fee has already been submitted on your behalf, that fee is non-refundable.
- — Mobile Service Cancellations: For mobile appointments, cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a travel fee if the notary or technician has already departed for the appointment.
SECTION 17 — CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
By using our services, clients agree to the following responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and truthful personal information when scheduling appointments or requesting services.
- Bring all required documents, identification, and reference numbers to their appointment.
- Arrive on time or notify us promptly if a delay or cancellation is necessary.
- Ensure that all parties required for a service (e.g., all signers for a notarization) are present and have valid identification.
- Confirm with the requesting agency that the format, card type, or service we provide meets that agency’s requirements.
- Review any translated or prepared documents before submitting them to any agency or institution.
- Pay all applicable service fees and third-party charges at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
SECTION 18 — BILINGUAL SERVICES AND LANGUAGE
JG Prestige is a bilingual business. Our team provides service assistance in both English and Spanish. A language selector is available on the Website for convenience. While we make every effort to ensure translated content on the Website is accurate, some automated translations may contain minor inaccuracies. For official or legally binding communications, our English-language content is considered the controlling version.
